Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
StripKit is developed by VybeCode Software. This policy explains what data the StripKit desktop application and this website do — and do not — collect.
The desktop application
StripKit runs entirely on your computer. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, usage analytics, or telemetry. The images you load and the filmstrips you export never leave your machine.
When checking for updates, the app may contact GitHub to read the latest published release. No personal information is sent in that request.
This website
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use it — which pages are viewed, approximate location (country / region), and general device and browser information — so we can improve StripKit and its documentation. We do not run advertising. This analytics data is collected and processed by Google; see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services for details.
Google Analytics sets cookies (for example _ga) to distinguish
visitors and measure sessions. Separately, to show the current version and changelog, the site
reads public data from GitHub's API and caches it briefly in your browser's
sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab).
Downloads are served by GitHub. Their handling of your request is governed by GitHub's own privacy policy.
Contact
If you contact us through the contact form, we use the details you provide solely to respond to you. We don't sell or share them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the software evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
